“Fatal Shadows: Leopards Succumb to the Cold-Blooded Assaults of Nile Crocodiles”

October 20, 2023 by admin

Nile crocodile is the largest crocodile in Africa, they possess a huge appearance, and excellent hunting skills. An adult individual can weigh more than half a ton and live to be 100 years old.

Of course, in order to have enough energy to supply that giant hunting machine, they are ready to kill all animals that dare to step into the water. Even those who know how to hunt like leopards, jaguars…

And this time, its prey is none other than a familiar opponent: Leopard!

Africa’s largest wildlife reserve has posted a short video of a poor leopard being killed overnight by this giant reptile.

This scene was recorded by an adventurous tourist. He also said, right after that, the crocodile dragged the (dead) leopard towards the river and disappeared, they could not take more risks to track them. However, it will certainly be a filling meal for the predator.

It is known that the Nile crocodile is a rather “omnivorous” eater. They can eat fish, small animals but are not afraid to add to their menu large species such as antelope, zebra or even leopards, lions are not afraid to attack.
