Two Feline Sisters Eagerly Await Their Dream Home, Despite a Previous Adoption Setback.
Cocoa and Snowball arrived at Love Your Feral Felines, an association in San Diego, about 7 months ago. These feline sisters were abandoned by their former owner, who adopted them when they were just babies. After this difficult ordeal, the volunteers hope to find them the ideal family.
Cole & Marmelade returned a few days ago to the story of Cocoa and Snowball , 2 tortoiseshell kittenswho experienced a sad event. They had the chance to join an adoptive home very early in their lives, but unfortunately, they were forced to leave it a few months later.
Back to square one
Following their abandonment, the feline sisters were admitted to Love Your Feral Felines , an association based in San Diego, United States. Rehousing Cocoa and Snowball was not going to be easy: adult cats are often neglected in favor of kittens, who are more popular with adopters.
However, these cats are very “ sweet and affectionate ”, according to members of their foster family. “ They just want to find a knee to lie on, and a window to watch people go by.” Snowball and Cocoa love receiving affection. They are perfect cats, and they are waiting for a new start together .”
Their benefactors did not hesitate to paint a flattering portrait of them on social networks: “ Snowball is a big fan of cuddles. She likes to stand at the top of her cat tree to watch over her territory. Cocoa is as sweet as her sister, and loves to sit on our laps. She purrs instantly as soon as you pet her, and loves to sunbathe . ” Has this strategy borne fruit?
The light at the end of the tunnel
It seems so! After 177 days in foster care, the feline sisters’ dearest dream was finally fulfilled. “ The girls have met their new masters!” We will miss them, but we are delighted that they have found their ideal home, ” we read on Facebook . Cocoa and Snowball start a new adventure, and we are sure it will be much better than the last one!
