HARDY and Wife Caleigh Ryan Welcome Their First Child, a Baby Girl
Country singer HARDY, 34, and his wife, Caleigh Ryan, have officially become parents! The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Rosie Ryan Hardy, on Friday, March 7.
Sharing the joyful news on Instagram on Sunday, March 9, the proud parents posted heartwarming photos of their newborn, revealing that Rosie weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces at birth. One sweet snapshot captured HARDY playfully squeezing his daughter’s cheeks, while another showed Ryan and Rosie sharing a tender moment as they touched noses.
A Journey to Parenthood
The couple first announced their pregnancy in October 2024 through a joint Instagram post, where Ryan cradled her baby bump in an elegant off-the-shoulder white dress. “You have been our favorite little secret to keep 🍼 🙏🏻 Baby Hardy coming February 2025 🤍,” she wrote at the time.
After revealing their exciting news, Ryan shared her excitement on Instagram Stories, saying, “We are going to be parents! 🤍🙏🏻🥺🍼 This is so fun!”
A Love Story That Led to a Growing Family
HARDY and Ryan, who began dating in 2018 after the country singer slid into her DMs, tied the knot in October 2022 in Nashville. Reflecting on their journey together, the couple previously shared with PEOPLE that they always envisioned having a big family. “We want like four kids,” Ryan said, though the couple planned to enjoy their honeymoon in Thailand and Vietnam before expanding their family.
Recalling their first meeting, HARDY said they bonded over their shared connections to Mississippi, with Ryan attending Ole Miss and his family having ties to Mississippi State. After keeping in touch, they finally met when HARDY had a show near Ryan’s college.
“Once we met each other, there really was no one else,” Ryan said, describing how natural their relationship felt from the start.
HARDY, recalling the early days of their romance, added, “I loved her after the third time we ever hung out. It was the realest thing I had ever experienced. I actually told her I loved her at Stagecoach, out in the crowd.”
Now, with the arrival of baby Rosie, the couple is embracing the next chapter of their love story—parenthood.
