A wild dog was pursuing the leopard as the leopard was pulling an impala. As you can see in the video, the lone wild dog, who is a part of a pack that consists of 11 adults and 10 pups, was barking as the leopard lifted the meal out of the riverbed and into the open space.
Even after the leopard was able to chase it away, the wild dog continued to call for the others. A pack of wild dogs suddenly came, ғʀɪɢʜᴛᴇɴing the leopard into the tree and leaving the impala on the ground as it was about to climb a tree to fetch its food up to safety, away from the scavengers. The impala saw an opportunity to get away and tried to do so just before the wild dogs ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋed it again.
The dogs gorged themselves on the food right away, and two of them managed to keep the leopard in the tree by leaping up and growling at it from below. Before two ravenous hyenas emerged out of nowhere and dashed among the wild dogs to get to the food, everything was quiet as the wild dogs gorged on the well-earned feast of the leopards. A third hyena joined them as the first two were enjoying the impala on their own while the other kept the wild dogs at bay.
