Do you think Mike Tyson will beat Jake Paul this weekend? Vote now.cau

After plenty of false starts, the legendary ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson – one of the most feared and respected boxers in history – is stepping into the ring against social media star-turned-fighter Jake Paul this weekend.

Its a clash of worlds, a battle of experience versus ambition – and we want to know who you think is going to win? At 58, Tyson isnt exactly in his prime anymore. But he’s still the guy who became the youngest ever heavyweight champion at just 20 years old, with a career filled with brutal knockouts and a fearsome reputation in the ring. Even today, despite his age, Tyson still exudes a real aura of danger.

Tysons last serious fight was in 2005 against Kevin McBride, and while he did make a comeback against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020 in an exhibition bout, hes been lying dormant ever since. Tysons raw power and experience are undeniable, and even though hes not as quick as he once was, theres still something terrifying about him in the ring. If Paul makes a mistake and gets caught with one of The Baddest Man on the Planet’s classic hooks, it could be lights out very quickly indeed.

His opponent Jake Paul has had a very different route to the ring. Becoming famous for stirring up controversy and making viral videos, he deserves much kudos for taking the sport so seriously. Unlike many celebrities who dip their toes into the ring for a quick payday, Jake has dedicated himself to training. He’s had 11 fights so far with a record of 10-1, with his only defeat coming against Tommy Fury.

Paul is obviously no Tyson, but at 27 has youth on his side and is currently a more active fighter than his older adversary. Hes got speed, stamina, and power – but does he have the mental toughness to deal with a fighter like Iron Mike?

Thousands of you have already entered our poll asking Who will win in the Mike Tyson v Jake Paul fight?, with the overwhelming majority – 4,179 – going for the Tyson win while just 831 think Paul will do the business. We’d love to hear who you think will win, so why not take our poll below?

So who will win?

If Tyson comes out aggressive in the early rounds, we could see fireworks. Tysons biggest strength, even now, is his explosiveness – hes got the kind of power that can end a fight with one clean shot. But if Jake can stay on his feet and keep the fight moving, his best bet might be to wear Tyson down over the course of the fight, keeping the pressure on and using his speed to avoid the big punches.

Jake will also have to be smart about his strategy. Tysons knockout power is still as dangerous as ever, but if Jake can stick to a game plan, avoid being reckless, and control the pace, he might just have a shot at taking the victory – especially if the fight goes into the later rounds where Tysons age might start showing.

*The Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight is expected to begin around 7pm local time this coming Friday.

Who will win this titanic clash? Tyson or Paul? Take our poll above.
