New York Mets’ star Pete Alonso had a stellar week, earning National League Player of the Week honors and claiming second place on the Mets’ all-time home run list.

Alonso dominated last week, slashing .400/.486/.967 with five home runs, 15 RBI, and nine runs scored, powering the Mets to a 5-2 record. After a quieter 2024, the 2025 season has seen Alonso rebound impressively, boasting a .301/.396/.594 line with 17 home runs, a league-leading 61 RBI, and 20 doubles, tying for first in the NL.
