Sean “Diddy” Combs has released a statement from prison, categorically denying the authenticity of a memoir allegedly written by his late ex-partner, Kim Porter. The memoir, titled *Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice, from the Other Side…*, reportedly contains graphic allegations about Combs, including accusations of physical abuse, and is said to be riddled with grammatical errors.
Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolf, condemned the memoir, labeling it a “fake” and “offensive,” describing it as a “shameless attempt to profit from tragedy.” She emphasized that Kim Porter died of natural causes and called for respect for her memory.
Porter’s children have also distanced themselves from the book, stating, “We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out.”
Combs is currently facing serious legal issues, including charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, which he has pleaded not guilty to. He has been denied bail twice and remains incarcerated. Prosecutors allege that Combs coerced and drugged women to participate in recorded sexual acts, referred to as “Freak Offs.” Authorities also discovered over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant during a raid of his property.
In addition to the ongoing criminal case, Combs has recently been ordered to pay a $100 million default judgment related to a sexual assault allegation from a 1997 party, involving Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, who claims he was drugged and assaulted. Combs continues to deny all allegations against him, with his attorney asserting, “Mr. Combs is a fighter, he’s going to fight this to the end.”
