Mullin turned heads with his unexpected feature in the blockbuster Deadpool and Wolverine flick as a new character named Welshpool. Released in July to rave reviews, the movie stars Reynolds as the gutsy Deadpool alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.

Mullin suited up as Welshpool, accompanied by Reynolds’ caption: “You may have noticed one member of the Deadpool Corps was far deadlier than the rest. WELSHPOOL.” Yet Reynolds recently let slip that a scene too spicy for theaters featuring Mullin didn’t make it into the final product.
Reynolds unearthed the cut scene and unleashed it on his social media channels just yesterday. The raw footage shows Welshpool among others, unloading verbal jabs at the main man, Deadpool.
In an unfiltered moment now circulating among Reynolds’ massive online audience, we hear Mullin’s Welshpool let fly a brash “f*** off, c***” in a robust Liverpool accent, rounding it off with a defiant two-finger salute at Deadpool, reports Wales Online.
Reynolds circulated the clip with a touch of humor, remarking: “This scene was deleted from the film but not my heart.” The clip, coinciding with the week Deadpool and Wolverine hit Disney Plus, went viral on Facebook, racking up over a million views and leaving viewers in stitches.
One user commented: “Whooooah, Super Paul Mullin had a line and it was cut out? ” while another laughed: “Hahahahaha this should have made the cut. We need a Welshpool spin off series.” In a quirky tribute, Mullin’s Welshpool costume was encased in glass at Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground for fan photos, and revealed by Mullin himself, Ryan Reynolds, and Rob McElhenney at the season’s first match.
Reynolds shared on Instagram: “Huge thanks to Marvel for not only allowing a new WELSH Deadpool Corps member in the film, but for looking the other way when the suit disappeared from set and was accidentally mounted professionally then inexplicably shipped to The Racecourse Ground in Wrexham with no regard for wrules and wregulations.”
He joked further: “On our visit a couple weeks back, we accidentally unveiled WelshPool in his new home at the stadium. I was as surprised as anyone to see it there. Before folks ask, yes, @paulmullin12 has to live inside a harshly lit, airless glass box, but that’s only because he didn’t read his Deadpool and Wolverine contract very well. Particularly the parts I wrote in crayon.”
Mullin celebrated his first goal of the season by donning a Deadpool mask, paying tribute to the popular Marvel movie series.
